  In spite of the great food and attentive servers, this was by far the worst dining experience of my life. We went to Katherine's last night with a group of 12 friends that we haven't seen for years. The management at Katherine's told us that there is a strict policy that groups were not to sit with each to cut down on the noise. So we were all separated and put in different rooms. Very disappointing. So as we sat with our small group, there was a group of 8 men at the table next to us. They were so loud and abnoxios that we couldn't even have a conversation with the person sitting next to us. We complained to the manager about being separated from our friends and yet allowing the noise to go on from these men. The manager was very rude and explained that our group was too large and that it is the owners' policy and there was nothing he could or would do. He would not tell the abnoxios table to keep it down. When we finally asked the table ourselves to keep their voices down, they got even louder. It was horrible.

  I've eaten here many times. ... never again!!! tonight i got a steak..... no salad.... no baked potato.... no vegetable... nothing just a steak... For $50..... my boys got crab for $60.... nothing else...just crab!!!.... was informed that the sides were available ala cart ...for $7 each....don't waste your time or money on this overpriced disingenuous restaurant! !!

  I gave Katherine's one star because the food is fantastic. I gave Katherine's ONLY one star because the manager's service was appalling! We had made a reservation for a birthday party for 12 people. Only 10 people were able to show up. When we arrived, they told us our party would need to be at separate tables...not because we only had 10 people, but because they don't seat parties that large at one table. We were not told that when we called. Not only did they seat 6 of us at one table, but the other 4 of us had to sit at another table at a completely opposite end of the restaurant! Like I said, the food was fantastic, but I will NEVER go back because of the way we were treated! When my husband tried to speak to the manager to express his disappointment, he was told "Don't make a stink, sir!" Good service is extremely important in the restaurant business, so keep this in mind if you ever consider Katherine's!
